I walked down to Skylar to ask her why she was standing like this. Her reply was "Syee surfee." Translation - Skylar's Surfing. I didn't even know she knew what surfing was. Apparently she picked this up during the week and decided to try it out. Her only mistake was that she was waiting for the water to come to her. This was the cutest thing to watch!!!

We have made it home safe and sound from the Mercer Family Beach trip. I can't say it was relaxing but it was a ton of fun. Dirk spent much of his time in the water with our fearless water-bug Skylar and when she wasn't swimming she and I were running up an down the beach collecting shells and digging holes for people to trip in later.
