Julie wore this dress for her first Christmas. So Skylar had to take her turn. Isn't she cute????!!!

We all spent this Christmas down in Milton, WV which is where Dirk's family is from. We had an great time shopping, eatting, and spending time with the family. We were all excited to have a little one at Christmas again. The fun news is that by next Christmas the family will have three little ones playing at grandma's for Christmas. What fun!!!

Ok...so Morgantown was destined to be in the national championship game for college football. Well guess what? WE LOST!!!

Oh well...this just happened to be the day that we decided Skylar needed to attend her first WVU sportting event. We started the day off by joining out good friends Ashley and Luke Iliff at the WVU basketball game. Then we set out across town to go to the WVU football game. The "backyard brawl"...WVU vs PITT. Skylar was a champ. She slept her way through the game and had all the women around us making googley eyes. I have to say that I am thankful Skylar wasn't talking yet. She may have picked up a few bad words when we lost the game =).

These pictures were taken the other day of Skylar while she was at work with Julie. She seems like such a happy baby. Two minutes later Julie was fired b/c Skylar threw her biggest tantrum to date and students threatened to break their leases and move elsewhere. No just kidding. She got the prettiest smile award for the day. Skylar ecspecially likes her giraffe toy from her great grandmother Janice (Dirk's grandma). She usually sleeps with it. Dirk places it in her right hand trying to convince her to be right handed. You can never start to soon. In fact she has started to try and hold her bottle when she feeds. Julie tries to get her to walk. She holds her head up really well now and she loves to smile. Skylar sleeps through most of the night. She really is a Mercer. She loves to sleep.

Dirk and i will be using this Blog to keep everyone up to date on the things we are doing in our lives and how Skylar Addison is growing up. We are thrilled to be sharing these memories with everyone as we are sure you will get as much out of them as we have.
