Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day! Skylar spent the day with me at work and we charmed all the guys! I have to say that Skylar was much better with the guys than I was. Oh my...what do I have to look forward to!! Ha Ha Ha!

Growing up fast

Well...out little Skylar is growing up! She weighed in at the Doc yesterday at 12lbs. WOW! She is also a good 2ft long. I know every one says "oh they grow up so fast" but my gosh, she went from 9lbs to 12lbs overnight! At least we all know she is eatting well and growing like a good mercer does..haha!

There was an amazing discovery in our house Monday night. Skylar figured out that she could really grasp things with her hands. Dirk and I were eatting dinner and looked over at Skylar on her play mat where she had reached up and grabed one of the hanging toys and was turning it back and forth. It was amaizing. Then she let go and we watched as she did it again and again. Her movements are starting to be deliberate.

Every day we see more and more of her personalit come out. If she keeps up on her current route she is going tp be an attention hog and may possibly go on to star on broadway. That would be ok with me!!!
