Fall at Coopers Rock

Skylar's 2nd Birthday

Well...we just celebrated Skylar's 2nd birthday. WOW! I can't even begin to explain how crazy that is.

We had a great time celebrating with friends and family who came over and cheered on Skylar as she so dutifully handed out gifts for people to open for her. It was a very interactive celebration.

I know....this is scary. You try to make tinkerbell on a hot cake in like 5 min. It's not as easy as it sounds. This is more like Scary-fairy than tinkerbell. Oh well!

Wisconson Part 1

This summer Skylar and I (Julie) had a chance to go to WI. It was Skylar's first trip. We packed everything we could into not so many days. seeing family and friends all over the state. It's a great thing we had a driver for the week! Thank you David. I know if my mom would have been driving we would have taken a detour here and there and visited people in Maine and Florida. Just kidding Mom.

It was a real treat for me to watch Skylar play in Aunt Dorothy's yard and feed the deer like I did when I was her age. We played on the doc, walked through town, and ofcourse...we ate lots of Mad Dog Jakes Ice Cream! Made the whole trip worth it. Ha Ha!

On a side note...Aunt Dorothy always took us Albino deer watching when we visit. But there has always been some reason I can't go along. Well...Aunt Dorothy....I saw an Albino deer here in Morgantown, WV. Finally....I get to see one!

Skylar is sitting here on her Great Grandparents headstone.

Can you say disco ball.

Look how wonderful the renovation of the Rothschild Roller Rink is.
